Emily Hite trained at Westide Ballet from 1995 until 2000. She danced the White Cat in Westside Ballet's Sleeping Beauty, as well as principal roles in Serenade and Concerto Barocco. In Westside Ballet's production of The Nutcracker, she danced the role of Sugarplum Fairy.

Emily joined Sacramento Ballet for the 2000-2001 season. Her repertoire includes Swan Lake, The Rite of Spring, Rodeo, Firebird, and Carmina Burana as well as Balanchine's Western Symphony, The Four Temperaments, and Scotch Symphony.

Emily returned to dance as a guest artist at Westside Ballet's 2002 Gala.
