New for Summer 2012
This year Westside Ballet will offer a five-week summer session from Monday, June 25 through Friday, July 27. 
Current New York City Ballet principals Tiler Peck and Robert Fairchild will be guest teachers.
Two levels will again be offered: Ballet Intensive (dancers ages 12 to 19) and Children's Program (dancers ages 8 to 11).

Yvonne in L.A. Times
Westside Ballet director Yvonne Mounsey is featured in a Dec. 2 story in the Calendar section of the Los Angeles Times. "Yvonne Mounsey leads Westside Ballet's 'The Nutcracker'" opens at a rehearsal of the Act I party scene. In the course of the story, Yvonne explains why performance opportunities are so important for young dancers: "When you're on stage, it's do or die, no more messing up."
