Martine Harley
As a student at Westside Ballet, Martine Harley danced virtually every role in The Nutcracker, from Clara to the Sugarplum Fairy. During 22 seasons with Houston Ballet, she danced a dazzling array of roles and rose to soloist before retiring from dancing. Martine th
en continued at Houston Ballet as a teacher, ballet mistress and artistic coordinator.
After retiring from Houston Ballet in October 2006, Martine’s career came full circle as she was welcomed back to Westside Ballet and immediately plunged into rehearsing a new generation of Westside Ballet dancers.
